Integrity360 snaps up Caretower

More M&A action! Integrity360 has acquired cybersecurity MSP Caretower, as part of its cunning plan to create a £70 million-revenue business across the UK and Ireland.

For those not in the know,  Caretower offers managed security services, penetration testing, security consultancy and managed incident response services, working with an array of vendors including Microsoft, Sophos, Kaspersky, Check Point, Forcepoint, Barracuda Networks among others.

The business generated sales of around £28 million in 2021 and has offices in London and Sofia, Bulgaria.

Integrity360 is a Check Point, F5 and Forcepoint partner and claims that the acquisition will bring its group revenues to £70 million in 2022 and boost its headcount to more than 300 employees including 200 cybersecurity engineers, analysts, consultants and specialists.

All of Caretower’s employees will remain with the group.

Cyber security providers benefit from EU and local regulations

Enterprises in the UK are looking to cyber security providers to help them comply with European Union and local regulations, and protect data as employees work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report published today by Information Services Group (ISG).

The 2020 ISG Provider Lens Cyber Security – Solutions & Services Report, for the UK finds enterprises in the country counting on cyber security providers to help them comply with UK privacy and cyber security rules passed as the country separates from the European Union. At the same time, U.K. companies must continue to comply with E.U. data privacy regulations because of the country’s economic connections to continental Europe.

Jan Erik Aase, director and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research said that UK enterprises are prioritising cyber security as most business processes have gone digital.

Nuvias signs deal with Forcepoint

devil_514Value-added distributor Nuvias has signed a UK and DACH (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) distribution agreement with global cyber security outfit Forcepoint.

Forcepoint is looking to Nuvias to help expand its reach and grow sales across both enterprise and SME markets in the UK and DACH.

Nuvias will distribute the full range of Forcepoint offerings, such as the recently launched Dynamic Data Protection solution which extends customer capabilities through Forcepoint’s Human Point System. Dynamic Data Protection brings together human-centric behaviour analytics and next generation DLP innovations and is the first Risk-Adaptive Protection solution in Forcepoint’s portfolio of market-leading cybersecurity products. These also include Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Web/Email Security, Data Guard and Network Security (NGFW).
