Octavian gets bigger digs

Nottinghamshire-based managed IT services specialist Octavian IT  expanded into larger premises.

The last three months have seen the business’ annual recurring revenue increase by £78,000 thanks to signing six new contracts. With several of these deals struck with companies in the security industry, the company said 70 percent of its revenue now comes from highly-regulated, security-based industries.

The larger offices are in Bingham, Nottinghamshire and are designed to help it expand more.
Octavian MD Ben Solomon said: “The past three months have been an exciting time for Octavian IT. We have added three new members of staff to our growing team, increased our revenue significantly and won six major new contracts.”

One of those contracts, which is valued at more than £142,000 over two years, will see the company install IT and phone systems, as well as provide ongoing 24/7 IT support and maintenance cover for an unnamed London-based security services provider.

Other projects include moving a longstanding accountancy practice to a new cloud-based centralised server system in Microsoft Azure, the setting up of IT systems for an unnamed high-end US footwear brand’s new site in London, as well as an IT support role for a Midlands-based logistics group.
