Pax8 appoints new CEO in strategic leadership shift

Cloudy outfit Pax8 has today announced the appointment of Scott Chasin as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Chasin, who has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technological direction as Chief Technology Officer since 2021, is set to take the helm, steering the operational and strategic course for Pax8’s pioneering marketplace technology.

The announcement signals the dawn of a fresh chapter for Pax8, with founder John Street expressing his confidence in Chasin’s leadership.

He said: “It is with great pleasure that I announce Scott Chasin as the new CEO. Having known Scott since the outset of his entrepreneurial path, I’ve witnessed his ability to lead with vision and execute with precision. His foresight positions him to propel Pax8 to new heights as a product-centric tech entity. We’re poised to become an emblematic brand, and I’m excited for the future under Scott’s adept stewardship.”

During his CTO tenure, Chasin cultivated a vibrant team of engineers and product innovators, spearheaded R&D efforts, and crafted a transformative technology strategy. Last year, he introduced the next evolution of Pax8’s Marketplace, aimed at equipping partners and vendors with analytical tools and resources to foster their expansion.

Chasin said: “Pax8 has flourished under John’s guidance, evolving from a nascent tech venture to a global frontrunner. Assuming the CEO mantle, I am both honoured and invigorated by the prospects before us.”

He said that most global companies being small to mid-sized and dependent on IT providers for tech integration, our innovative Marketplace, elite enablement initiatives, and cohesive community are set to bolster our partners’ triumphs and catapult businesses worldwide into a digital era.

Microsoft Chief Partner Officer and Corporate Vice President Nicole Dezen welcomed the news: “We share in the excitement for Scott Chasin and Pax8 as they pass the torch of CEO. As a key partner for Microsoft globally, we anticipate collaborating with Scott to integrate Copilot, Security, and AI within the partner ecosystem.”
