Econocom goes on a recruiting drive

B2B digital services outfit Econocom plans to recruit 100 elite sales agents over three years.

The announcement aligns with One Econocom’s strategic roadmap, which aims to expand its “unique network of independent sales agents across Europe.”

The firm aims to achieve a revenue of £3.44 billion over the next five years, a significant jump from its current turnover of £2.4 billion.

Econocom already has a robust team of self-employed entrepreneurs who represent the company and engage with customers daily.

This distinctive sales approach has been fundamental to its success for over four decades, fostering enduring, trust-based client relationships.

Econocom, chairman and founder Jean-Louis Bouchard said: “For over 40 years, we’ve honed our expertise in nurturing this independent sales force, ensuring long-standing support for our clientele.”

“The company stands out as the sole digital firm to have pioneered this model of sales agents, who are genuinely independent business directors. It’s a major strategic asset, giving candidates an extraordinary chance to join a sector-leading enterprise while maintaining entrepreneurial autonomy.”

Econocom is launching a recruitment campaign to propel these expansion efforts, targeting experienced sales professionals versed in the company’s key service areas: hardware distribution, IT services, leasing solutions, and recycling.

The company seeks individuals who embody its entrepreneurial ethos and are keen to contribute to a customer-focused, long-term project that mirrors its foundational principles.

The initiative is backed by a multi-media promotion featuring video endorsements from sales agents. The programme will roll out across Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, Benelux, Germany, and the UK.
