Security outfit Infinigate reports increasing revenues

Cybersecurity Infinigate reported £1.9 billion in revenues for the financial year ending in March 2023.

Revenues and profits increased thanks to organic growth, acquisitions and cost savings conducive to business efficiency.

It was a busy year on the acquisition front. In 2022, Infinigate acquired Nuvias, Vuzion and Starlink distribution houses to extend its geographic reach, skill set, secure solutions, and services roster.

These acquisitions brought together more than 1,300 employees across Europe, the Middle East and Africa – an integration the distributor said is “progressing well”.

Rigby Group will become a shareholder in Infinigate Group following the acquisition, along with Infinigate investor Bridgepoint.

The purchase, the details of which were not disclosed, is part of its own cunning plan to develop its own platform, and the Cloud Distribution tie-up will give it a chance to add more emerging technologies and vendors.

Simon England, CEO of the Nuvias Group, said the addition of Cloud Distribution would enhance the business.

Cato Networks gets its first pan-European distributor

This was a few weeks after the outfit was given $77 million in its largest funding round so far at the start of April.

The firm made it clear that the broad plan was to use those funds to continue to build on the momentum the business enjoyed last year, with a 220 percent increase in bookings, and the solid start it had made to 2020.

Part of that strategy involved investing more in the channel, and Cato has appointed Nuvias as its first pan-European distributor.

Nuvias picks up work from Cisco’s Broadsoft takeover
