HPE has high hopes for Greenlake

HPE CEO Antonio Neri claims GreenLake is now a $7.7 billion business and is growing at 86 percent annually.

For those who came in late, GreenLake is the vendor’s as-a-service offering and Neri thinks it will be a  “North Star” for HPE customers, with the “entire company inside GreenLake”.

In HPE’s 2021 full-year results, the vendor revealed that it had added $1.5 billion of GreenLake total contract value in the preceding year, bringing the total to more than $5.7 billion. More than 900 partners sold HPE GreenLake, making it “one of the largest partner of ecosystems selling as-a-Service offerings in the industry”.

HPE launches GreenLake cloud services

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced a new cloud product for the European market.

Dubbed HPE GreenLake cloud services, the product will be hosted by Interxion, A digital realty company and provider of co-location services in 13 countries.

HPE said that the new offer brings customers the benefits of a managed cloud experience without the complexity of managing data centres, while maintaining ownership and control of their data and workloads.

Neri opens HPE’s GreenLake Central

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced its cunning plan deliver its entire edge-to-cloud portfolio as-a-Service.

Dubbed HPE GreenLake Central the kit and kaboodle is a software platform that provides customers with a consistent cloud experience for all their applications and data, through an operational console that runs, manages and optimizes their entire hybrid IT estate.

HPE sells GreenLake and subscriptions to partners

HPE is sitting down with its distribution partners this week to encourage them to flog its new GreenLake offeringsand subscription model to the mid-market.

The former maker of expensive printer ink  is holding its second annual distribution shindig, this week.

More than 400 partners now selling the Greenlake offerings, which makes it the fastest growing part of the vendor’s business, increasing 275 percent year-on-year.
