IT Lab has been renamed as Content+Cloud as the businesses it has acquired over recent years are lumped together.
The IT Lab brand will be retired on 1 September along with the Content and Code name, which joined the group via acquisition in 2018.
CEO Peter Sweetbaum (pictured) said that Sol-Tec, which was also acquired this year, will also be renamed “in due course.”
Sweetbaum said the name changes reflects the services that the group provides.
“There are a number of reasons for this, but most importantly it brings together all the capabilities and services in the IT Lab group into a single organisation – which enables us to bring the full power of what we can do to one company and one brand.
“We believe by doing this we deliver on our own missions, which is to help ambitious people and organisations to succeed.”
Sweetbaum added that two brands – Mirus IT and Persective Risk – will stay separate brands. For those not in the know, Mirus is an MSP focused on the SMB market, while Perspective Risk is a security and penetration testing specialist.
