IBM and Cisco lead in GlobalData’s Industrial Internet numbers

IBM, Fanuc and Cisco are the leading companies in the Industrial Internet sector, according to the latest “Thematic Scorecard” for the industrial automation sector from GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

The three companies all gained the highest Thematic score (five out of five) in GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard for the industrial automation sector. A Thematic score of five out of five indicates that this theme will significantly improve their future performance.

Also identified as dominant players in this theme are the SAP, Japan’s Nippon Ceramic, China’s HollySys Automation and Omron.

GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard ranks companies within a sector based on overall leadership in the ten themes that matter most to their industry, generating a leading indicator of future earnings growth.

Meanwhile, Google and Blackberry were the leading consumer electronics companies in the Autonomous Vehicles theme, according to the latest Thematic Scorecard from GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

The two companies both gained the highest Thematic score (five out of five) in GlobalData’s scorecard for the consumer electronics sector. A Thematic score of five out of five indicates that this theme will significantly improve their future performance.

On their tail, with scores of four out of five, are Apple, Xiaomi, Alibaba, Huawei and Panasonic.
