Actian expands global channel and channel programme

Data outfit Actian has announced the arrival of its new global partner programme which will provide new features and benefits for value-added distributors and system integrators.

AvalancheTM cloud data warehouse is supposed to provide a more than twenty times performance advantage over rival offerings such as AWS Redshift and Snowflake.

The company said channel partners were a key part of its strategic long-term growth plan and it was doubling its usual 10 percent  referral incentive to 20 percent through to the end of 2019.

Marc Potter, chief revenue officer at Actian said: “With the implementation of the new Actian Partner Program, our channel partners and our customers will gain access to industry-leading, breakthrough technology and expanded support for the delivery of solutions to address the broad spectrum of business challenges that customers face today.”

Channel partners that invest and develop new business, open new markets and refer new business via the new programme will be rewarded with discounts, benefits, as well as deal registration for lead protection.

Those benefits and features include expanded sales and marketing GTM programs, secure access to the Actian Portal, a lead referral programme, as well as key training and certifications. That’s on top of a managed services programme, deal registration scheme and incentivised rewards that offer tiered discounts, new business and referral benefits.

With multiple partner levels, Actian says the programme’s tiered structure enhances partner value and offers goals they can “meet and exceed”. The firm is also confident it will result in increased revenue growth, customer acquisition and expansion into new markets for its partner ecosystem.
