Cloudy technology outfit Vapour has launched a new Application Monitoring as a Service (AMaaS) solution. This “aaS” thing is beginning to get on our nerves,
It says its “proactive surveillance tool” Logic Monitor can cover an organisation’s entire IT infrastructure – across on-premise, cloud and hybrid applications and bring enterprise-level performance detection technology to organisations.
The company claims its service provides ‘eyes’ across a company’s entire egosystem, the enhanced visibility can identify a range of IT “estate” problems – including ‘broken’ processes, bandwidth drains, and potential network risks – before they become a real problem. Performance metrics, proactive alerts, and monthly recommendations will help to troubleshoot, mitigate downtime, and increase ROI from the technology, while reducing IT costs.
Logic Monitor will be integrated into all new customers’ Vapour networks, as standard with a monthly subscription service available according to the number of endpoint devices being monitored.
Vapour’s head of transformation, Ms Carol McGrotty claimed that Logic Monitor was the ultimate detection tool for network underperformance.
“For too long, application monitoring has been something only large corporates [corporations, Ed.] can afford. This is not OK, so we’ve devised a subscription service affordable for all.”
