UK channel’s confidence soars to sky-high levels

In a dazzling display of optimism for the future, the bigwigs of Britain’s channel scene are buzzing more than a hive in summer.

Agilitas IT Solutions’ latest interviews with 250 top brass from the UK’s channel firms reveal a confidence score of 7.9 out of 10. That’s the beefiest it’s been in half a decade.

The managers threw their weight behind snazzy innovations, sprucing up the customer experience and snagging the crème de la crème of talent.

A hefty 82 per cent reckon AI’s the bee’s knees for business. But only three-quarters are giving AI a whirl in their game plans.

Agilitas’s John Hayes-Warren said channel companies face challenges balancing new tech, company vibes, green goals, and customer satisfaction.

However, there is a conflict between the suits and the shop floor. While nearly all CEOs pat themselves on the back for meshing company culture with tech, less than half of the junior managers feel that groove.

Sustainability was on everyone’s lips, with 77 per cent planning to get stuck over the next year. But—and it’s a big but—less than a fifth are crunching the numbers on their carbon hoofprint.

Hayes-Warren added: “Our 2024 channel trends report aims to help businesses identify the biggest gains, what strategies are prioritised, and most importantly, whether enough is being done to prosper,”
