TD SYNNEX will offer Cisco Refresh-certified remanufactured equipment throughout Europe, supporting partners as they adopti cost-effective circular IT procurement strategies.
The company is now directly stocking Cisco Refresh items in its logistics centres, which are prepared for immediate dispatch to partners.
TD SYNNEX insists this initiative aims to shorten delivery times and enhance product availability transparency, aiding partners in integrating a broader array of eco-friendly solutions into their Cisco market offerings. This move coincides with a surge in demand for environmental sustainability in IT procurement.
According to the latest TD SYNNEX Directions of Technology Report, 69 per cent of channel entities recognise ESG factors as influential in IT procurement, with 51 per cent offering recycling or circular economy return schemes. Additionally, 33 per cent of partners intend to invest in product lifecycle management within the forthcoming year.
Furthermore, its partners have noted that numerous public sector projects mandate a percentage of IT products to be sourced from the circular economy, fuelling the demand for remanufactured or recycled items.
The distributor communicates its Refresh stock availability to partners and offers products on its InTouch e-commerce platform.
