CMS Distribution teams up with Fujitsu

CMS Distribution has signed a distribution agreement with Fujitsu that covers the full range of technology products, solutions and services.

The partnership with Fujitsu will see CMS Distribution’s partners gain access to Fujitsu’s full suite of tech solutions and enable the Japanese business “to broaden their customer reach”.

CMS Alliance’s Nick Bailey said: “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Fujitsu and be able to offer their business and consumer solutions and support its channel growth with our targeted marketing programmes, technical support and financial services.

CMS Distribution drones on with PowerVision

The company announced the new partnership with PowerVision to take advantage of the firm’s presence in UAV, robotics and big data markets. CMS distribute PowerVision’s intelligent and intuitive consumer drones; PowerEgg, PowerRay and PowerEye.

CMS Distribution sourcing director Luke Noonan said that PowerVision’s product offering gives them a unique position in the market and he was looking forward to talking about PowerVision with our customers.

Connected makes Vine main channel man

Kevin VineKevin Vine is to be a VP of Connected Data and will expand the company’s channel efforts.

Vine has previously worked for Buffalo and for megadistie Ingram Micro.

He will continue to work with disties including Ingram, CMS, Comline and Beta Distribution but will also aim to boost the number of channel partners selling the Drobo “smart storage” range and the Transporter cloud offering.

Vine said that these brands “present a compelling proposition to build a major channel business across EMEA”. He said the technology is outstanding and the business potential to sell and integrate the products is “excellent”.

In the role, he will report to Jillian Mansolf, executive BP of global sales at Connected. CEO Geoff Barrall said he has a background in building US product market share in the region.  Connected will concentrate on building its sales, marketing and technical support in the region as part of a  major push in the second half of this year.
