Camera extension outfit Sound Control Technologies (SCT) has appointed CUK Group to distribute its products in the UK. Distribution was previously handled by ScanSource.
The addition of SCT to the CUK Group portfolio significantly strengthens the company’s video products offering which has grown through the recent addition of several brands and the purchase of York-based distributor, Tukans, the company claimed.
SCT’s business used to be handled by ScanSource, which is shutting down its entire business following its €30 million sale to a private investor last year.
CUK Group managing director Stuart Thomson said: “Our focus is to make sure that these products are backed with great customer service, technical support and of course fast delivery from our East Kilbride distribution centre.”
SCT’s business development manager Peter Nice, said: “The success Sound Control Technologies has achieved is down to being close to our customers and end-users and understanding their needs. Partnering with a distributor like CUK Group that shares our philosophy of building strong relationships will ensure we continue to develop our business in the territory.”
