UK-based cybersecurity software company SentryBay is recruiting new partners for its Authorised Reseller Programme to help it meet a sharp rise in demand for its endpoint protection.
The company, which has a broad range of specialist enterprise, data monitoring, ID theft protection and OEM products is actively seeking resellers with security software experience, who can benefit from cross-selling opportunities alongside standard security solutions.
SentryBay has experienced a surge in demand for endpoint protection software since companies were forced to allow employees to work from home. With lockdown occurring so quickly, many found that their corporate networks were at risk of breach due to a lack of suitable security on personal devices outside the network, and the need to extend compliance for regulations such as PCI. The solutions have been deployed by tier one banks, insurance companies, call centres, telcos, wealth management companies, governments and enterprises.
Marcus Whittington, COO at SentryBay said: “Because we specialise in endpoints, our products are frequently sold alongside standard anti-virus solutions, which are not designed to protect many of the vulnerabilities that PC’s, laptops and even smartphones present. Regardless of the strength of a company’s central security policies and existing conventional solutions, the security profile of an unmanaged or BYOD endpoint cannot be adequately controlled. This means that enterprises are looking for advice from integrators and resellers across the full breadth of their security estates, and they want it now.”
One of the main issues that SentryBay has come across has been incidents involving key-logging, screen-scraping and insecure browsing. It recognises that resellers are uniquely positioned to help customers prevent this by incorporating anti-keylogging software, and secure data entry into applications commonly used remotely like Office365, VPN’s, VDI solutions etc.
