IT operations management outfit ScienceLogic has opened an office in Glasgow, Scotland.
ScienceLogic said the new office would act as a hub of its business development operations in the region and bring additional jobs to the surrounding area.
The new HQ will also enable the firm to expand, and further support its growing customer base as MSPs, and large enterprises continue to adopt artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps).
ScienceLogic founder and CEO Dave Link said that dependence on legacy product suites, organisational data-silos and stifling economic models amid a widening skills gap would seal the fate of enterprises who fail to modernise.
“Cutting-edge, flexible business models that innovate early often have an advantage in delivering enhanced, resilient digital experience to customers. Fortunately, the criticality of advanced toolsets with an AIOps narrative is taking hold in EMEA, which we see in terms of fueled demand. This strategic investment is intended to serve as a beacon for organisations leading digital transformation in Europe.”
ScienceLogic has been doing well of late. The outfit has posted its strongest quarter on record, as well as registering year-over-year growth of almost 40 per cent for the EMEA business.
ScienceLogicVP of EMEA Clive Spanswick said: “Our new business development contact centre in Glasgow backs our commitment to deliver tangible business growth to our enterprise and MSP partners, which underpins the support they need for great outcomes.”
The firm also announced a new partnership with UK-based IT sourcing and managed service provider Softcat, which said ScienceLogic’s expansion is a positive move for both partners and customers.
