Sapphire has appointed Micro-P as its latest tier on UK distributor. Micro-P is a leading B2B distributor and Sapphire hopes it will help it broaden channel reach in Britain, create more market demand and generate more revenue, naturally.
Sapphire is the top AMD graphics partner worldwide, but in addition to Radeon graphics cards, the big AIB recently branched out into the mini-PC market, with its quite successful range of Edge nettops, based on AMD and Intel chips.
Steve Morgan, Sales Director Northern Europe, Sapphire, said the company is confident it has solid infrastructure in place to support the channel.
“Our primary goal is to service the channel with products based on performance and quality,” Morgan said.
Zoe Curtis, PC Component Product Manager at Micro-P, said Sapphire’s channel strategy will sit nicely with Micro-P’s current portfolio and allow it to support and service its reseller partners even better.
There is some good news for consumers, too. Sapphire and Micro-P are marking the occasion with a few special offers, including a nine percent discount on Sapphire HD 7770 graphics
cards. Integrators and resellers can contact Micro-P to pounce on the opportunity, Curtis said.
