Samsung announces new partner training programme

Samsung is launching its new business partner programme aimed at supporting consistent and accelerated growth for its partners.

Dubbed Samsung One, the programme uses an instant-access mobile app, which combines sales enablement assets, training, product information, news, incentives and rewards in one place.

Samsung said that its programme shows the company’s commitment to maximising partner engagement. With instant and remote access, every sales agent gets the support they need to drive engagement and sales with customers.

Joe Walsh, director of B2B at Samsung UK & Ireland said: “We are delighted to be able to introduce the Samsung One Partner Programme. There is no doubt that this year’s unpredictable events have driven a need to be more connected, collaborate seamlessly, and empower our people, wherever they are. By launching this programme, we acknowledge that mobility and on-demand learning have become more vital.

“With Samsung One, we bring a series of excellent support tools together to enable our partners and their customers to deliver consistent and accelerated growth. This represents our commitment to enhance our partners’ mobility strategy in business through education, motivation, communication and incentivisation. We strongly believe it will change the way we work with our partners and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”

Samsung One will include a four-tier certification level – Registered, Authorised, Advanced and Elite – that will certify partners based on their own targets. By personalising the programme for every partner, rather than adopting a ‘one size fits all approach’, Samsung ensures each company receives the bespoke necessary tools to achieve their goals and meet the needs of their own customers.

While Commercial, Marketing and Training benefits vary between tiers, every partner will receive full access to Samsung’s Service benefits – including Business Services Centre telephone support and support for Knox, Samsung’s security portfolio – regardless of its certification.

As part of Samsung One, all partners will receive access to detailed B2B training materials that can be accessed via the app (on Android and iOS) or through all “popular”web browsers. The training content, hosted by Samsung, will cover areas for improved sales performance, including deep dives into: Why Samsung for Business, Devices, Ecosystem, Enterprise Edition, Rugged Range, Samsung Knox, and Solutions & Partnerships.

Samsung said it is committed to rewarding exceptional partner performance and an Incentives programme will lie at the core of Samsung One. This will include Samsung Rewards loyalty care – an always-on credit card scheme available to all partners that sign up to the programme – training incentives for sales agents that complete courses, and major ad-hoc prizes for individual partners that meet set targets or goals.
