Sabio has hired former NewVoiceMedia CEO, Minecast and Symantec executive Jonathan Gale as its new CEO.
Gale will step into shoes that are vacated by Andy Roberts, who will become a vice-chairman.
Since Horizon Capital backed the firm in 2016, it has sealed six deals, including Callware, SaaS solutions provider Rapport, contact centre player DatapointEurope, customer insight and contact centre benchmarking firm Bright UK and flexAnswer Solutions, the Singapore-based provider of Virtual Assistant solutions.
Gale’s task will be to drive the growth and exploit the opportunities that are out there in the customer experience market.
Gale said: “Our focus is on enabling our clients to embrace and maximise the value from the latest technologies such as AI-powered self-service, truly channel-agnostic customer engagement tools and endlessly scalable and elastic cloud platforms.”
Lee Shorten, Sabio Group chairman, said that it wanted to expand its position in the contact centre market, “in terms of customer base, market share, strategic partnerships and its product capabilities. That’s why we’re taking this step to strengthen our leadership, with a new set of skills and experience to take the company on the next stage of its journey.”
