Pax8 gives MSP’s the “keys to the kingdom”

Pax8 claims its revamped cloud marketplace has been crafted to revolutionise how MSPs provide solutions to their end customers.

The cloud distributor launched the new marketplace at its Beyond conference in Denver this week, which saw attendance surpass 2,500.

Pax8’s chief product officer, Libby McIlhany, said the outfit had developed this marketplace with one goal: MSP your success.

“We’re giving you the keys to the kingdom of easy-to-use tools and AI insights designed to save you time and accelerate your business’s growth,” she said.

The fresh marketplace enables partners to gain a deeper understanding of their customers and discover new avenues for growth, offering improved insights powered by their data.

Featuring a contemporary new user interface tailored explicitly for MSPs, the marketplace aids them in swiftly pinpointing and capitalising on sales opportunities and security vulnerabilities.

“Our new customer-centric marketplace is a product built with the promise that every feature and function has been thoughtfully architected to make her growth easier, quicker and more certain,” McIlhany said.

At the 2023 Beyond conference, Pax8 introduced the overhauled cloud marketplace that leverages the strength of data and AI to serve as a customer acquisition engine for its partners.

The marketplace assists Pax8 in aligning MSPs with end customers keen to purchase directly through Pax8’s vendor partners.

Via a “buy now” button on most Pax8 vendor partners’ websites, end customers are redirected to Pax8’s marketplace and prompted to respond to queries that pair them with an MSP, should they not already have one.

The cloud marketplace begins with a reimagined homepage with features intended to enrich the MSP experience, including data insights and resources like the Pax8 Academy team.

“We wanted it to be highly relevant and helpful, but not overwhelming. We’ve also simplified the information architecture and navigation to ensure that you can access everything that you need and easily,” McIlhany said.

The enhanced catalogue permits MSPs to pinpoint precisely what they’re searching for, through intelligent search and advanced sorting, designed to function collectively as an all-encompassing tool to identify the correct products for end customers.

“This isn’t your typical transactional catalogue; it’s the gateway to our new shopping experience,” she added.

Customers can purchase the licences they require when they need them without MSP involvement. If an MSP is not entirely comfortable with that, they can effortlessly approve any orders a customer places.

End customers can obtain support, make payments, and order and manage products independently. The storefront catalogue is customised to specific customers based on their line of business, industry, or country.
