Nuvias has announced an elite club of channel players called the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC).
The consortium members include Exclusive Networks, Exertis, Ingram Micro, Infinigate, CMS Distribution and Arrow Electronics are responsible for more than $150 billion of sales of products, services and solutions.
Nuvias is a $750 million company with offices across Europe, it claims.
GTDC CEO Frank Vitagliano said that Nuvias was a model for what successful technology distribution will look like today and into the future.
“Its ability to flex and adapt to the changing needs of the channel will also help our organisation to better meet the evolving requirements of today’s technology vendors, resellers and solution providers— as the world continues to shapeshift around us every day.”
Nuvias is the latest distributor to rejoin GTDC. Exertis rejoined in March last year after a five-year hiatus while Italian distributor Esprinet joined in January 2021.
Nuvias Group CEO, Simon England said the Surrey-based distributor has continued its acquisitive growth over the past year, strengthening its presence and service in the UK, Benelux and the DACH region.
It entered a partnership with cybersecurity vendor Deep Instinct in June to focus on the Benelux, DACH and the UK. The following month the group was selected as the European distributor for autonomous breach protection platform Cynet to expand across the DACH and Benelux regions.
