Netskope shoots up

Netskope is expanding in the UK as channel sales in the country did a lot better than expected

In March, Netskope launched its Evolve Partner Programme with a new three-tier system, which is said “brought greater discounts and incentives for top partners as well as a global discounting structure and other incentives through its deal registration programme”.

The big idea was to onboard new channel partners and “deepen relationships with existing partners”. While most companies say that sort of thing when they launch a new programme it turned out that Netskope was not only telling the truth but did better than even it thought it would.

The edge security provider’s channel sales grew by 251 per cent between February 2021 and January 2022, bettering Gartner predictions for 19-21 percent year-on-year growth in the SSE market.

It added that partner accreditations and certifications increased 78 percent.

Netskope’s Channel vice president Michael Herman, said: “We are growing our channel business at an incredibly high rate all across EMEA, and it is clear that there is a huge appetite among partners and customers for SSE.

“We are really excited by the momentum we see in the UK and across EMEA following our success in the Gartner SSE Magic Quadrant and the launch of our new partner programme this past year and look forward to onboarding selected partners who are committed to growing their business with Netskope.”

Netskope is also investing in expanding its UK presence with its in-market team growing by nearly a third in 2021 to support customer, partner and market demand.

The UK team is now 87 strong, with many roles working internationally.
