Law outfit Wiggin boosts telecom brief

Media, technology and IP law firm Wiggin has announced that telecoms specialist Victoria Harris-Honrado has joined the firm as a partner. The hire is something to do with the arrival of Gordon Moir and his team in October 2020.

Harris-Honrado joins from 3 . Before her time in-house she spent nine years in private practice, including at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Hogan Lovells in Brussels.

Victoria Harris-Honrado, Partner, Wiggin said: “Having spent almost 12 years in-house at one of the UK’s largest mobile network operators, I’m well versed on the challenges that telecoms businesses encounter. My experience gives me a genuine understanding of the client viewpoint and the ability to provide commercial advice that goes beyond purely legal.”

In 2020, Wiggin added a new telecoms practice headed by Gordon Moir. Wiggin acts for many of the world’s telecommunications providers as well as regulators and financial investors.
