King of Servers has rebranded to Evaris after acquiring Manchester-based MSP Think4 IT.
The newly formed firm will offer a range of services including cloud management and disaster recovery, as well as expertise in servers, storage and networking.
Evaris CEO Mike Cohen said: “The acquisition is a key strategic step to ensure customers continue to benefit from the excellent knowledge and service already offered by King of Servers and the extensive skill set that Think4 has in the managed services market. We identified issues in both the e-tailer and VAR markets that made it problematic for a business to fully transform through technology.”
He said that e-tailers tend to not hold stock, which slows down the buying process, and focus on transactions as opposed to customer relationships. While VARs, although providing a complete solution, fail to create a deep relationship with customers as their expertise is often split across multiple teams.
