Intel is a big name in cyber security now

Chipmaker Intel has earned a big reputation for security in the servers, storage, and networking sector, according to beancounters at GlobalData.

Chipzilla gained the highest “Thematic” score (five out of five) for the cybersecurity theme in GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard for the servers, storage, and networking sector. A Thematic score of five out of five indicates that the company’s competitive position in this theme will significantly improve its future performance.

On its tail, with scores of four out of five, are Amazon, Google, Cisco, Ericsson, Nokia, Dell, Cloudera, Oracle, Broadcom, IBM, Fujitsu, and Hitachi.
