F5 has appointed Carl Berry as its new Director of Channel Sales for the UK and Ireland.
He will report to Nasser El Abdouli, VP for EMEA Channel Sales at F5.
After 20 years in the industry Berry joins F5 from Fortinet, where he was the Regional Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. He has also held leadership positions at Avnet Technology Solutions.
El Abdouli said: “Berry brings a unique blend of people skills and security experience to F5. During his career, he has held several senior management roles within the channel, focusing on collaboration and execution across the partner ecosystem. He will be central to ensuring strong relationships with both existing and prospective partners, as well as creating new use cases and routes to market.”
Berry said: “It is a fantastic time to join F5 and lead the channel strategy across the UK and Ireland. I look forward to engaging with our partners and further empowering them to deliver secure and adaptive applications that reduce costs, improve operations, and better protect users.”
Meanwhile the company ahs appointed Kristina Wiktander as VP for North and West Europe
She has been with F5 since 2019, most recently as Vice President responsible for its Northeast region. Before joining F5, she held senior leadership positions at Dell and HP.
Wiktander assumes responsibility for F5’s newly formed North and West Europe region, which spans 13 countries, including the UK, Ireland, the Benelux region, and the Nordics.
As head of sales for the region, she is charged with driving the strategy to better support organizations and governments throughout their cybersecurity and digital transformation journeys. She will report to Pierre Castelnau, Senior Vice-President for EMEA Sales at F5.
Castelnau said: “In her role as VP for our Northeast region Wiktander has taken the business to the next level, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and inclusiveness. We believe that our operations in North and West Europe will benefit immensely from her approach, translating into improved performance for F5, our partners and our employees.”
