Exclusive Networks gets by with a little help from its friends

Cloudy Exclusive Networks has been getting closer to its existing vendors in new places and deeper ways.

That plan worked well for the company last year, with the firm boasting it had kept its vendor relationships, and there is no sign of that changing as it enters 2024.

In its latest full-year figures for 2022, the distributor claimed it had gained from maintaining solid relationships, with its vendor and customer loyalty rates up by more than 100 per cent yearly.

An example of that plan in action came last week when Exclusive extended a relationship with Ruckus Networks that had been going on in the US to cover the UK and Ireland. That saw Exclusive move into a spot where it could offer the vendor’s full range, including Ruckus AI and the Cloudpath Enrolment System, to make adding more kit to a network more manageable. The distributor will give training and support to get resellers up to scratch with the technology.

In another recent example, last November, the department widened a relationship with privileged access management player One Identity, working across France and Spain to cover the UK.

Matthew Paynter, vendor boss for UK and Ireland at Exclusive Networks, said it would keep making similar moves.

“We are proud of the quality of the vendors in our range, whether that’s them showing up at the top right of their own Gartner squares, their love for helping the channel and driving Channel Lead business, or, of course, the very important one, that they are easy for our Partners to do business with and grow business with,” Paynter said.

“We think about our range very carefully and certainly have the complete cyber security vendor relationships, which bring together a mix of old vendors we’ve brought to the UK, with over 10-15 years of friendship and investment under our belt, the growing newcomers and the vendors leading the way for the cyber security solutions of the future,” added Paynter.

“We pride ourselves on our relationships established in EMEA and globally. We take our role very seriously as a cyber security provider who can deliver global plans in a local market.”

He added that for 2024, the outfit will be focused on delivering that growth and value to its vendors and keeping an industry-leading service approach for the channel to grow together.
