CDW, CGI, Computacenter, Softcat, SCC, Insight Direct, Trustmarque and XMA have made it onto the East Midlands Commercial Strategy Unit’s (EMCSU) ICT framework.
The ICT VAR framework was announced in July of this year and is valued at an estimated £5 billion. The contract will run for four years until August 2023.
A total of 11 suppliers applied to be on the framework, with EMSCU choosing eight. The framework is comprised of a single lot and suppliers are expected to provide a wide range of IT products, including end-user devices, audiovisual equipment and network infrastructure.
Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-service are some of the services expected from suppliers, as well as pre-sales, support, consultancy and pilot services as part of the framework.
Formed in 2012, the EMSCU unites buyers from the Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire police and emergency services.
