DXC Technology has written a cheque for the London-based cloud service management firm TESM.
The move is part of a cunning plan to extend its ServiceNow capabilities. TESM is a cloud and automation specialist with offices in Dublin, New York, Sydney and Frankfurt.ServiceNow is a cloud-based IT service management platform, which counts Computacenter and Timico among its UK partners.
TESM is a Gold ServiceNow partner, reported turnover of £22.6 million in its year ending 31 March 2017, it has also bought the BusinessNow, a large ServiceNow Gold partner based in the Nordics.
Dan Stoks, vice president of global ServiceNow practice at DXC Technology, said: “TESM and BusinessNow add a unique set of skilled people, IP and aligned offerings which will further enable DXC enterprise clients to leverage the ServiceNow platform as a foundation for enterprise-wide digital transformation. Our cultural match, shared vision and capabilities on the ServiceNow platform will greatly enhance our ability to address rapidly growing customer needs across Europe, the UK and around the world.”
DXC was formed last year when Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) span off its services business and merged it with CSC. The services giant claims that the double acquisition of the ServiceNow partners will accelerate its ability to offer clients an expanded range of cloud-based, as-a-service solutions for service management across the enterprise.
Patrick O’Connor, TESM’s CEO and founder said that the company had invested heavily in increasing enterprise adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
“Today a number of the largest financial services and pharmaceutical companies are long-term TESM customers, and we have made significant investments in R&D to accelerate enterprise adoption of ServiceNow as clients make the shift to digital. We are excited to become part of DXC Technology, and to leverage the company’s brand, global presence and scale to further grow our business and value to clients,” he said.
