Security outfit Check Point Software Technologies has completed its acquisition of Perimeter 81.
For those not in the know, Perimeter 81 is a Security Service Edge (SSE) company, with a team of over 200 employees that serves more than 3,000 customers worldwide.
The acquisition is seen as Check Point’s moves into hybrid work and cloud migration. It will enable Check Point’s dedication to provide fast and secure access for remote users, sites, datacentres, and the internet.
Check Point CEO Gil Shwed said welcoming Perimeter 81 into the Check Point family fortifies its position in the SASE market.
