The Cancer research UK charity will adopt Ideagen’s Q-Pulse and PleaseReview applications for quality management and document review and collaboration
Ideagen will see the company supply it with two of its software applications.
Cancer Research UK will implement Ideagen’s Q-Pulse and PleaseReview products.
The project will see the charity adopt Ideagen’s software for general quality and compliance management tasks as well as for use during complex document review and collaboration projects.
PleaseReview will initially be used by Cancer Research UK’s medical writing and technology teams during comprehensive collaboration and reviews of technical documentation.
Q-Pulse will be adopted by the organisation’s clinical trial and drug production teams, again replacing a manual process for simpler compliance with regulatory bodies such as MHRA.
Cancer Research Head of Quality, Regulatory and Pharmaco vigilance UK Sue Waller said: “Our ambition is to accelerate progress so that by 2034, three in four people will survive their cancer for at least ten years. To do this, we need to work efficiently and collaboratively and Ideagen’s software will help us do this.
“Using PleaseReview, we will reduce review times across important documentation such as technical processes, drug development documentation or reports.
“Q-Pulse will become our central electronic quality management system, reducing efforts in managing our QMS while improving regulatory compliance and reducing the risk of inspection findings. Both software applications will help us continue our pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.”
Ideagen provides software and services to organisations operating within highly regulated industries such as aviation, banking and finance, life science, healthcare and manufacturing with its main operational premises spread throughout the UK, EU, US, Middle East and SE Asia.
