Hannah Birch has been appointed SVP and Managing Director (MD), Ensono Europe.
The appointment follows Ensono’s acquisition of cloud consultancy Amido, enabling Ensono to help more clients with their transformation challenges and co-creating new digital models. Birch takes over the role of MD of Europe from Barney Taylor.
Birch joined Ensono in June with a remit to transition into the managing director role. She spent over a decade at Accenture as Managing Director in Technology. Her work at Accenture included responsibilities heading up its Insurance Practice for Technology and on the Technology Leadership Team for UK & Ireland.
Birch brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry to her role at Ensono. She has worked with many multinationals both across the Insurance and Energy sector, as well as data centre and service management transformation engagements. Before her roles at Accenture, Birch held “Leadership” positions at both Computacenter and Fujitsu Services UK.
President Marc Capri said Birch had a long history leading businesses’ growth strategies and transformations.
“During the smooth transition from Barney’s leadership in Europe, Hannah has quickly demonstrated a deep understanding of Ensono’s purpose to deliver transformational programmes to its clients. She is the perfect individual for the job to lead Ensono Europe to future success, building on the exciting opportunities created by Ensono’s recent acquisition of Amido.”
Birch said that the Amido acquisition brings a wide array of digital enablement capabilities.
“Ensono and Amido have already forged trusted partnerships with many leading brands, and with increasing demand for a more flexible and tech-driven experience across all sectors, I am really excited about the myriad of future opportunities to offer more innovative, and particularly cloud-native services to our clients.”
