Asolvi has acquired PC Data as part of its glorious UK expansion plans.
It wrote a cheque for Purpose Software in January and then followed that up with Vantage Computing being snapped up in February.
The Nordic player has made it clear that it views UK expansion as one of its priorities.
PC Data delivers the Alarm Master solution to the fire and security systems market and has more than 600 customers across the UK, which will take the Asolvi user base past the 1,500 mark in 30 plus countries.
Asolvi CEO Pål M. Rødseth said the PC Data team had served the UK fire & security sector with class-leading solutions for many years and had a good number of customers. It has a pool of industry specialists which will help Asolvi deepen its expertise in fire safety and security systems and become Europe’s top provider of field service management software for this market”, said Rødseth.
The leadership team at PC Data, Ken Symmonds and Philip Jackson said they could have more impact by joining forces with Asolvi.
“We believe that being part of a larger software group will add strength to the product development that is needed in such a high-stakes market. We have also got to know Asolvi as a competent and dedicated company in the service management space and are confident that bringing the companies together will benefit our customers in the future”, they said in a joint statement.
