Arrow Electronics announced a new distribution agreement with VAST Data, a storage software infrastructure company.
Arrow will help accelerate the adoption of VAST Data’s high-performance Universal Storage platform by broadening its reach with key channel partners and markets across Europe.
Launched in 2019, VAST Data’s Universal Storage platform mixes software algorithms with new hardware and networking technologies to sort out AI big data analytics and provide fast data protection.
The deal means channel customers can buy Universal Storage through Gemini, VAST Data’s storage business model. Gemini is a software offering, delivered to customers as a simple managed service on pre-defined hardware.
Arrow VP Alexis Brabant said: “VAST Data has brought something new to the market, and we’re pleased to be working with them in Europe to help them to further scale their business.”
VAST Data channel director Kate Goodwin said: “Over the last two years, we’ve grown very quickly, quadrupling our sales in the last 12 months. We’re looking forward to working with Arrow in Europe to enable the success of an even larger number of trusted channel partners as they introduce Universal Storage to their customers.”
