ServiceNow snaps up Raytion

AI outfit ServiceNow has acquired Raytion to score its information retrieval technology.

The idea is that  ServiceNow will provide real-time access to business data from various sources, making AI search more powerful, efficient, and personalised.

ServiceNow said in a statement that Raytion’s technology, combined with ServiceNow AI Search, will help users find answers without knowing the exact location of the information.

It securely integrates data from different sources, including data within ServiceNow and third-party systems, offering a smart search experience from a single entry point.

ServiceNow Senior Vice President of Platform and AI, Jon Sigler said: “ServiceNow is speeding up work by uniting fragmented data into one intelligent platform, helping customers share knowledge across their organisations. Raytion’s technology will make relevant data sources searchable, so everyone—employees, customers, and agents—gets the answers they need when they need them.”

Raytion’s AI-powered search and knowledge management capabilities allow integration across the entire enterprise, pulling from all knowledge repositories. Combined with ServiceNow’s AI, it provides comprehensive and relevant search results in one place, boosting self-service and case resolution. ServiceNow’s single data model integrates people, services, and systems, offering a more personalised user experience based on past searches and interactions.

Raytion founder and CEO Valentin Richter said: “Enhancing AI with up-to-date information from all relevant data sources makes business processes smarter. Combining ServiceNow’s platform with Raytion’s secure data integration gives businesses a competitive edge, enabling employees to solve problems and act faster. We’re combining critical information with intelligent AI-powered search and reliable data retrieval in one place.”

Since 2001, Germany-based Raytion has provided large-scale business solutions for Global 500 companies.

This acquisition follows ServiceNow’s previous purchases of Enable OH&S technology, Hitch Works, and 4Facility technology, showing their commitment to AI transformation, improving employee experiences, and shaping the future of work.
