Intel has announced the culmination of a years-long collaboration with Accenture to bring 34 AI reference kits to the community.
The kits are said to aid developers and data scientists in deploying AI faster and more easily, accelerating AI development across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, energy and utilities, financial services, and health.
Built on the oneAPI open, standards-based, heterogeneous programming model and components of Intel’s end-to-end AI software portfolio, the kits are intended to streamline the process of introducing AI into applications, enhancing existing intelligent solutions and accelerating deployment.
This has resulted in performance improvements with a shorter and more productive workflow.
Some benefits and use cases include:
- Setting up customer care AI chat boxes and acceleration of performance by up to 45 per cent.
- Automating visual quality control inspections with 20% faster inferencing and 55 per cent faster visual defect detection.
- Predicting utility asset health with 25 per cent more accuracy.
