Ofcom is looking for a supplier for an IT services contract worth up to £44 million to design, plan and deliver IT services across its user base.
The IT services contract will commence on 1 May 2022 and will run for four years, with the option to extend the contract by up to two additional years. Ofcom claims the contract’s value is estimated to be between £25 million and £44 million over the contract’s life.
The contract covers Ofcom’s IT including PC equipment and supplies, networking and software programming and consultancy services.
Ofcom claims it is looking for a tailored IT services delivery model with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity due to the “high profile and threat level” of the organisation.
The regulator uses systems including Microsoft’s suite of applications including Azure and Office 365 as well as ServiceNow, Salesforce and Workday.
The deadline for requests to participate in the contract is 5 May.
