Blue Orange made £4.2 million in revenue for its fiscal year ending 31 March 2020 and is expecting turnover to hit £5 million by the end of its current fiscal year.
The company has a two year target to hit £10 million in turnover
The reseller was founded 13 years ago and four years ago turnover was at £1 million.
It now has a team of 16 full time employees, with 10 sub-contractors. The company hired three engineers pre-lockdown and plans to hire up to five more heads in the next month.
The reseller is rumoured to be on the hunt to acquire others, somewhere in the south of the company, possibly in London.
About 65 percent of Blue Orange’s revenues come from schools and universities, with the remaining 35 percent coming from business clients, which includes Nandos – popular with old pop stars like Jimmy Page.
Its education business has helped it remain buoyant when income from other streams stalled due to the COVID-19 virus.
