Cloudy Rackspace has launched its SDDC (Software Defined Data Centre) Enterprise and Business for SAP with VMware virtualised computing, storage, network, and cloud management products for its channel partners.
The multi-tenant VMware solutions enable business-critical SAP and SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance) environments with a fully integrated hardware and software stack for private clouds. The enterprise-ready grade solution and SAP-certified pre-configuration based on Dell VxRail is a turnkey experience that enables innovation.
The Rackspace SDDC Enterprise and SDDC Business offer numerous additional add-on services as VMware vRealize Suite, physical and virtual operations ops management and Rackspace Data Protection for disaster recovery (DR) management and VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) interconnect services. In addition, SDDC Enterprise and Business for SAP uses either shared, dedicated or virtual storage area networks (VSAN) based Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) storage that is SAP’s stringent requirement for the latest SAP HANA database, including the current S/4 HANA generation.

The SDDC infrastructure solution expands Rackspace’s Private Virtual Cloud (PVC) product and solution offering and now provides certified options for SAP customers with this solution. Rackspace’s ERP application services and more than 20 years of SAP expertise can extend the core capabilities and services of SDDC for SAP to help customers architect, migrate and manage their SAP applications.
