Crayon UK managing director Hayley Mooney is jumping ship and leaving the chilly Nordic MSP behind for a sizzling at Bytes Technology Group as the new chief commercial officer.
Mooney’s gearing up to take the reins in July, but she’s not rushing in. She’s chilling out, maxing, and relaxing with the fam on a bit of “garden leave” before the big gig.
Mooney’s been the queen bee at Crayon’s UK hive for nearly three years, steering the ship since 2018, when she hopped on board as channel and cloud director. Fast forward to 2021, and she’s the managing director.
This isn’t her first rodeo at Bytes, she is circling back after a 12-year gap, having previously strutted her stuff there for over five years, climbing up to Head of Solutions.
Bytes’ big cheese, Jack Watson, can barely contain his glee: “We are thrilled to welcome Hayley into the team later this year.”
He praises her “visionary approach, strategic mindset, and passion for excellence.”
Crayon, CEO Melissa Mulholland took to LinkedIn to doff her cap to Mooney: “I wanted to take this moment to give my heartfelt thanks to Hayley Mooney for her contributions to Crayon,” she says. Mooney’s apparently left some big shoes to fill, having grown her career and buffed up the UK team’s shine.
