Synaxon teams up with Teemex

Synaxon UK has joined up with Teemex to integrate Teemex’s Cloud ERP solution with its own stock, pricing and ordering aggregation platform.

The solution is now available for MSP, reseller and retailer partners to deploy as an ‘off-the-shelf’, end-to-end solution specifically designed for use in the hi-tech distribution and retail sector.

Synaxon announces partnership with UFP

Channel services outfit Synaxon is teaming up with specialist print products distributor UFP.

The agreement means resellers now have access to UFP’s expansive specialist print and IT portfolio through Synaxon’s online procurement platform EGIS.

In a statement Synaxon said that UFP brings the total number of distributors on the platform to 40 and broadens the range of offerings available to resellers, retailers, and office product suppliers.

UK MD Mike Barron said that UFP was a valuable addition to EGIS. “It’s a thriving and dynamic business built on delivering the best products and services and we’re delighted to have them onboard.”

Synaxon UK reshuffles

Synaxon UK has brought in Peter Mulvihill as Category Manager and Jane Haack as Key Account Manager, in a bit of a reshuffle to encourage growth.

Mulvihill will be responsible for managing Synaxon UK’s growing vendor and distributor portfolio, which includes major names such as Lenovo, Microsoft, HP, Dell, and APC. He brings two decades of experience working in distribution and reseller procurement and joins the channel services group from PC gaming systems specialist, Overclockers, where he spent the last three years as Purchasing Manager.

Haack will be responsible for liaising with Synaxon UK’s partners and recruiting and enabling additional partners for EGIS – Synaxon’s online procurement platform, Synaxon Distribution, Synaxon Managed Services (SMS), and the EGIS eCom e-commerce platform. She has previously worked in sales roles at managed services specialist Datto, and web content management provider, Altis.

Synaxon adds UFP to distie list

Synaxon UK has added another name to its growing list of distributor partners – the specialist provider of print and IT products, UFP.

UFP’s portfolio is available to resellers through Synaxon EGIS online procurement platform.

UFP has a pan-European presence and annual sales of over €1.26 billion (£108 million). It employs 750 people, 125 of them at its UK base in Bradford. UFP is an authorised distributor for Apple, Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, HP, IBM, Kyocera, Lenovo, Lexmark, Logitech, NETGEAR, OKI, Samsung, Xerox, and other leading vendors. As well as print devices, it offers networking, peripherals, data storage, mobile accessories, and other tech products for delivery throughout the UK.

Synaxon partners with Nordic Telavox

Synaxon UK has signed a partnership with Telavox, the Nordic UCaaS provider. The agreement gives UK resellers direct access to Telavox’s partner programme.

For those not in the know  Telavox Partner Program provides resellers with a range of services and options designed to support sales and services growth. As well as comms and IT system integrator partners, Telavox is keen to work with businesses with skills and experience in collaboration tools, contact centres, and CRM. It offers training and sales support, rapid installation through a self-provisioning portal, transparent pricing and attractive commissions and flexible partner programs to suit resellers of all shapes and sizes.

Synaxon UK Managing Director Mike Barron said that working with Telavox was a good way for partners of all kinds to differentiate their offering and get closer to customers.

Synaxon renews partnership with Integra

Synaxon UK has renewed its strategic partnership with Integra under which partners and members of each organisation will be able to access the benefits of the other at preferential rates.

Under this agreement Synaxon partners can sign-up as members of Integra, gaining access to the company’s preferential trading terms with leading office products distributors, such as Antalis UK and VOW Wholesale, and direct with over 100 suppliers. Synaxon partners will also have access to Integra’s own-brand range of Initiative office products, which are widely recognised for great quality and value.

Integra members will receive discounted Synaxon UK fees, giving them access to stock and availability from more than 30 IT distributors via the EGIS procurement platform. They will also benefit from exclusive offers available from Synaxon Distribution and the support resources the group offers to help resellers develop their managed services business.

Synaxon takes on Northamber

Synaxon UK, the channel services group, has announced that the full portfolio of products stocked by leading distributor Northamber, has been added to its EGIS stock availability and pricing platform.

Northamber is the latest in a string of additions to the growing list of distributors and suppliers that Synaxon UK works with to provide resellers and retailers with the most comprehensive choice of products, along with full stock availability and pricing information, available in the channel.

Other recent signings include network components specialist distributor, Approved Technology, independent provider of printer and copier supplies and consumables, Go2 Distribution, and the leading office products and stationery and brand, ACCO.

SYNAXON canoodles with Layer 8

Channel and managed services group SYNAXON has formed a new partnership with Layer 8, a specialist practitioner in security behaviour change.

The agreement gives SYNAXON UK members access to a specialist set of services that will let them deepen and improve knowledge and awareness of the problems around digital security and data protection, and encourage best practice – amongst their own staff and their customers.

Mike Barron, Managing Director of SYNAXON UK, said that the partnership with Layer 8 is part of a longer-term plan to equip members with the capabilities they need to give the best advice to customers and set themselves apart in a busy market.

Synaxon wants more MSPs

Synaxon UK, a channel services group, has launched an updated framework for its SynMSP membership with the aim of encouraging more managed services providers to join its ranks.

The outfit thinks that the revamped value proposition will give new members access to an extended series of community events, tools, and learning resources. As a SynMSP member, MSPs have direct access to vendor programmes and compelling benefits and opportunities to create new revenue streams.

Synaxon adds two new channel bods

Synaxon UK has added two new members to beef up its channel team.

Luke Steel is the new Vendor Channel manager, while Chris Yule assumes the post of internal sales executive having made the switch from VIP Computers. Steel has more than  two decades worth of experience with him, 17 years of which he spent at Entatech. During his time with Entatech, Steel was responsible for networking, comms and surveillance business and was as leader of the Corporate Team.

Luke Steel said: “I’ve now been in the industry for 20 years and I’ve met some great characters along the way. I pride myself on delivering great service and helping customers to achieve new business goals. I now have the chance to do that at a much more personal level – with resellers, distributors and vendors – by joining the Synaxon UK team.”

Yule has been sales account manager at VIP and already established himself in the Channel.

“After gaining initial experience by completing an apprenticeship at VIP, I knew a career in sales was for me as I loved interacting with customers. I have been studying for my sales qualifications, and I’m looking forward to working for Synaxon UK and adding to my skills within an established business,” he said.
