TIBCO finishes Information Builders merger

TIBCO has successfully closed the acquisition of Information Builders following its announcement in October to buy it. The acquisition marks the addition of ibi’s data management and analytics capabilities to the advanced TIBCO Connected Intelligence platform.

The formal integration of Information Builders into TIBCO began in early January, following the end of Information Builders financial year-end on 31 December 2020.

Simpson Associates couples with Information Builders

Business intelligence analytics, and data management outfit Information Builders announced that Simpson Associates, a leading data analytics consultancy, has joined the company’s Partner Programme as a Signature Partner.

Through this new partnership, Simpson Associates will provide its clients in the UK government, education, housing, retail, media, publishing, legal, and manufacturing sectors with data quality and master data management solutions based on Information Builders’ Omni-Gen technology.

Information Builders launches another Global Partner Programme

Business intelligence (BI), analytics, and data management outfit Information Builders has announced launched of a new Global Partner Programme to provide its partners with the benefits, investment, and resources needed to drive profitability and success in the data and analytics market.

Information Builders claims it aims to work with growth-minded organisations that want to deliver a “data transformation solution” and enable “customer success” by helping clients manage data, generate insights, take action, and deliver “measurable impact”.

Goldman Sachs invests in Information Builders

12845_Goldman-Sachs-logoBusiness intelligence, analytics, data integrity, and integration solutions provider, Information Builders has just cashed a growth equity cheque from Goldman Sachs’ Private Capital Investing group.

The money will be spent extending Information Builders’ position in the large and growing market for BI solutions.

The Private Capital Investing group is Goldman Sachs’ investment platform dedicated to providing junior capital to growth and middle market companies throughout North America.

The group is co-headed by Michael McGinn, managing director at Goldman Sachs, who will be joining the board as part of the investment. Also participating in the financing is Bregal Sagemount, a firm with an established track record of software investing.

Stephen Kerns, vice president in Goldman Sachs’ Private Capital Investing group said that Goldman Sachs is pleased to contribute to Information Builders’ continued growth and innovation in the business intelligence industry.
